A welcoming Yoga space for everyone.

A welcoming yoga space for people looking to discover yoga for the first time, to develop their practice.
or to practice along side like minded individuals.
Yoga means to unite, bring your true self along and meet us on the mat.
Where you can let your worries float on by like clouds in the sky, even just for 60 minutes.

85 hours prenatal yoga

Hi, my name is Amy and I teach at The Yoga Lounge on Mondays and Saturdays. I teach vinyasa style and often incorporate chakra and breath work in my classes. I’ve been practicing yoga since I was 16 (which is a while ago) and believe learning is the greatest gift we can have. Svadhyaya -Self Study- is my favourite sutra and I believe that we are capable of learning anything if our minds are open enough. I have completed a 200 hours Yoga Teacher Training and 85 hours Prenatal Yoga accredited by The Yoga Alliance and I am currently working on a sequencing course with Jason Crandell. My classes are light hearted and often include humour; laughter is welcome. I believe living should be taken very seriously but life and ourselves less so. Everyone is welcome at my classes: yoga is for everybody and every body.

Hello, I’m Chloe! I love the outdoors and you can often find me out hiking, camping or riding my horse. Im a midwife, and hypnobirthing teacher and trained in aromatherapy, in addition to training in prenatal yoga and 200hrYTTC certified with the yoga alliance. I have a strong belief in a holistic approach to healing in myself and others. Since discovering yoga over a decade ago, I instantly fell in love. Yoga provides a place to meet yourself where you’re at that day and do something that feels amazing for your mind body and soul. Taking time out of your day to practice yoga is like giving yourself a warm hug. I love setting a scene for my students. Providing a sense of sacredness which honors this ancient Indian spiritual practice. Philosophy was a big part of my yoga teacher training and I try to weave this into my classes along with meditation, pranayama and asanas. I teach at the yoga lounge on a Wednesday morning 0930-1030. I teach in a vinyasa style and actively encourage students to listen to their bodies and find what feels good to them. Yoga is not about comparing yourself to others, it’s about self discovery and giving you the tools to deal with everything life throws at you. I believe everyone should have a bit of yoga in their life!

When the yoga lounge opened I was one of the first to step out of my comfort zone and step onto a yoga mat, it soon became my safe space away from the busy pace of life. The asanas and breathwork I learnt helped me so much that I had to study this to pass this sacred knowledge onto others.

My classes are suitable for beginners and beyond, designed to help you to pause, breathe and move in a way that helps you to push past your limiting beliefs.

It felt natural to theme the classes around each chakra due to my reiki master experience.

holistic therapy's, self care and yoga are the magic tools i hope everyone can find time for.
